With regard to the sites proposed
to be reserved for future batteries,
which it seems would interfere
with accommodation desirable
for the public; it is possible that
some of
the sites rejected tonight be
given up, as not being on the
most commanding points,
or
being inconveniently closed
upon
by buildings; and upon
this
point the General Officer in Com-
mand will be directed to confer
with the Governor, and decide
upon the spot the sites which shall
be so reserved.
